Located in Barcelona, the Roca Barcelona Gallery was developed jointly with the renowned OAB (Office of Architecture in Barcelona) headed up by Borja, Lucía and Carlos Ferrater.

The building has 2.400 m2 of surface area spread over 3 floors, attractively presenting the most important aspects of the brand history, the elements relating to the world of design, innovation and sustainability from an educational and informative perspective, and with a wide range of Roca´s most innovative products on display. A zonal detection system and an array of tactile screens allow visitors to interact with the building.

The building’s frontage features a complex illumination system made up of strips of glass lit with 4,200 blue leds which recreate a water effect, an element which sits at the very core of the Roca philosophy.

When selecting the winner, the jury´s most highly-valued criteria were the integration of innovative strategies and materials featuring pragmatic solutions, all of which are present in the Roca Barcelona Gallery.
