London Festival of Architecture 2016

LFA Event: Changing Communities, Changing Housing

14th June 2016
6:30 – 8:30pm

Admission free

Join the Roca London Gallery for a lively debate on community and housing, as part of the London Festival of Architecture 2016.

The speakers will take a look at changing communities and how housing might respond to the new panorama.

There are many issues to consider including: new housing types due to shifting demographics; can housing ideas and schemes contribute to community building; with new technology and new ways of communicating are physically based/housing based communities really important? Are there housing initiatives that can serve as "best practices" for our cities/communities?

The debate will be followed by drinks, and a last chance to see our 'Anupama Kundoo: High-speed Housing' exhibition.
