About the exhibition:
‘Timber Rising’ is the first comprehensive exhibition to look at the new revolution in vertical timber building, examining the historical context, as well as addressing issues of safety and urban health, which are both of urgent importance in the public mind. The exhibition explores the sustainability and wellness aspects of using engineered timber, in particular CLT, considering the modern-day use of an enhanced ancient material and the impact that a closer connection to natural materials can have in high-density environments. Discover the most significant mass timber solutions to date, alongside more ambitious concepts and proposals for the cities of tomorrow, and interviews with the key participants.
