Roca received the Red Dot Design Award: Product Design 2025 for two of its latest bathroom collections: the extended Ohtake collection by Rodrigo Ohtake and the new Meridian collection by Altherr Désile Park. The Red Dot Award celebrates excellence in product design across all industries, and Roca’s double win highlights the brand’s ability to combine technical precision with creative vision. Meridian: contemporary and timeless

Designed by the Barcelona-based studio Altherr Désile Park, the Meridian collection is a holistic and contemporary bathroom collection rooted in Mediterranean culture. It is defined by a warm, balanced design language of soft arches, clean geometry and a natural palette of ceramics, wood and steel. Reinterpreting the architectural heritage of the Mediterranean through a modern lens, Meridian evokes serenity and timeless elegance while embracing innovation and contemporary living.

Adaptability is one of Meridian’s defining characteristics. From private homes to the hospitality sector, where comfort, functionality and exclusivity are key, the collection offers a wide range of solutions: from space-saving units to double vanities, modular shelving and elegant ceramic toilets and bidets in white, matt white and matt black. Meridian brings understated luxury to any bathroom environment.

Ohtake: sculptural elegance inspired by nature

The extended Ohtake collection, designed by Rodrigo Ohtake and inspired by the organic design ethos of his late father, Ruy Ohtake, has won both a Red Dot Design Award and an iF Design Award, adding to the list of previous awards for the Ohtake collection, including Red Dot “Best of the Best” and IDA awards.

This year’s extension introduces two new basins and a compact Stonex® bath shaped by the elegant curves of the calla lily. The bath draws inspiration from the Japanese Ofuro, providing an immersive, cocoon-like experience. Each piece is sculptural yet functional, bringing together artistic expression, sustainability and innovation.

Flow-T: nature-inspired showering

Winner of an iF Design Award 2025 in the Bathroom category, the Flow-T thermostatic shower system recreates the feeling of natural rainfall through advanced water flow technology and ergonomically designed nozzles. Air-infused jets provide a gentle massage effect, enhancing relaxation while maintaining water efficiency – transforming daily routines into moments of wellbeing.

Roca São Paulo Gallery: architecture in harmony with nature

Winner of the iF Design Award 2025 in the Architecture – Retail/Hospitality category, the Roca São Paulo Gallery, designed by the architect Fernanda Marques, combines glass architecture and lush landscaping in a tribute to Brazil’s Atlantic Forest. Designed to foster connection, the 1,400 m² space hosts brand exhibitions.

The landscaping, designed by Alex Hanazaki, brings the space to life with dense tropical vegetation and warm wooden surfaces, creating a calming and immersive experience that blurs the boundaries between nature, city and design
