A successful exhibition for Roca at ISH2023

Roca's top-three highlights from ISH 2023

Roca enjoyed a positive response from visitors at this year’s ISH Frankfurt. Collaborating with Barcelona-based architecture studio Mesura, the Mediterranean-inspired booth showcased some of Roca’s upcoming collections and products.

Created by Catalan designer Andreu Carulla, the Tura collection was the showpiece of the stand. Inspired by Spanish architecture the collection celebrates square and rectilinear lines, combined with gentle curves and soft edges. The use of slatted shelves is a nod towards the shutters seen in Spanish homes, while the Matt White, Light Noble Grey and Light Terracotta colours are reminiscent of a colour palette we associate with the Mediterranean. To complement the 100% natural ceramic sanitaryware, recycled cork and waterproof felt accessories have been designed to keep areas looking slick, whilst still embracing natural, tactile materials.

Roca also presented Nu, their colourful collection of taps, designed by Inma Bermúdez and Moritz Krefter of Studio Inma Bermúdez. The pair were inspired to strip back the traditional tap design and eliminate any unnecessary elements, leaving them with a set of sleek and simplified taps. Made eye-catching by their vibrant hues, the taps are available in Mint Green, Cobalt Blue and Honey Yellow, as well as Titanium Black, Glossy White and Chrome. The collection has three different handles: Pin, a thin, elongated handle; Dome, a rounded handle, and Stripes, a grooved knob inspired by old stereos.

As well as the new collections, Roca presented the In-Wash® Insignia smart toilet. Uses can program functions and adjust operating modes via the remote control or the In-Wash® Insignia mobile app. Functions include the opening and closing of the seat, a night light and adjustable washing features. The innovative toilet uses the Roca Rimless® Vortex Hygiene Flush, to maximise water flow, as well as a Supraglaze® coating to prevent dirt build up and a self-cleaning nozzle to eliminate 99.99% of bacteria. The WC also featured In-Tank® technology meaning that the cistern is integrated within the toilet bowl, making it a space-efficient design.
